Industrial waste, the primary target of the first projects in the hydrothermal gasification sector

In 2025, players in the hydrothermal gasification (HTG) sector came together to form the HTG Cluster within Biogaz Vallée. The aim is to launch the first (pre-)industrial projects in 2026 and to develop a genuine market for this technology in France by 2028. Industrial waste is one of the first targets for the deployment of this technology: in the conference, key players set out their positions and explain the reasons for this choice.
